A native Californian, I have slowly made my way up the coast – born and raised in San Diego, attended undergrad in San Luis Obispo, and now, living and working in Berkeley and Oakland. Before serving at New Hope, I served in campus ministry in San Luis Obispo and in an inner-city, African-American church in Baltimore, Maryland. I received my Masters in Divinity from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, and I have also gone through training to be a spiritual director at San Francisco Theological Seminary. In addition to serving at New Hope, I serve as the Coordinator for Pastoral Care at PLTS, and I offer spiritual direction to students and other lay people. I’m happily married to my dear husband, Fred!
